Becky has played music most of her life. In the 70s Becky played in the all girl band: MS w Rosie Flores; She traveled extensively throughout the country playing in clubs, colleges, auditoriums, theaters. She arrived in NYC in the early 1980s and sang back-ups with Otis Blackwell, who wrote for Elvis Presley. She also recorded in Atlantic Recording Studios in NYC and worked with Ahmet Ertegan who founded Atlantic Records. She hosted the midnight Jam on Bleecker St. in NYC, and worked with a host of great musicians including Otis Blackwell, Steve Forbert, Joe Jackson, Chris Spedding (Rod Steward), Buzzy Feiten and Sal Barnardi (Ricky Lee Jones), John Putnam (Tommy, Kinky Boots on Broadway), Sammy Marendino (Cyndi Lauper), and songwriter Doc Pomus . Her son JT Curtis, who starred in the Broadway Revival "Let It Be" at the St. James Theater, as George Harrison, plays guitar with "the Becky Curtis Family Band." Becky has recently released an album of original and cover songs from recordings over the years. The album, "Vintage" is available on CD Baby.
